College Introduction
College of Management and Smart Sustainability
As of Aug. 2024, TCU merged with Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology to become a comprehensive university.
The new Tzu Chi University consists of 5 colleges and 1 academy, namely,the College of Medicine,the College of Nursing,the College of Biomedicine & Innovation Technology,the College of Humanities & Arts,the College of Management & Smart Sustainability,and the Sky Academy of Liberal Arts.
TCU upholds the motto of “kindness, compassion, joy and unselfish giving” and strives to nurture students into responsible individuals who respect life and care for all living beings.
The newly established College of Management and Smart Sustainability consists of
- The Department of Information Technology & Management,
- The Department of Business Management,
- The Department of Health Technology & Management,
The Bachelor Program in International Service Industry Management, and the future Tricontinental Master Program in Global Studies under the leadership of the Dean Prof. Dr. Bernard Y. Kao. Together with 30+ faculty our ambition is to prepare professionals who are committed to lifelong learning, analytical and critical thinking, and working with others while embracing the spirit of Tzu Chi Humanities and Sustainability to tend to those in need.
